These first three pictures are just to wet your appetite. All of them are on my Best Of 2003 page and are currently breeding.
First I will get into the history of this trait and then further down on the page I will have some of their siblings and other Tangerine Dorsal Striped - For Sale .
I hope you enjoy checking them out.

This one is by far and away the nicest one I produced. It deserves the top spot.

This one and the one above are clutch mates . It is a shame she didn't get her sister's good looks. LOL

Here is another one with that incredible stripe. The same parents produced all three of them. I will have pictures of the parents later on the page.

Lets begin by getting into the history of the Tangerine Dorsal Striped Trait.
Quite a few Leopard Geckos are born with a faint line down their backs, but what makes the Tangerine Dorsal Stripe's different is the amount of Stripping . During the 1999 breeding season I started noticing that some of the Leopard Geckos I was producing had a more pronounced stripe than others. Below are some of the born in 1999 examples.

I decided to keep the first and third ones pictured above for myself in hopes of bettering the stripping. In 2000 the Stripes started to separate more, become more pronounced, and become more orange in color. Below are some of the born in 2000 examples.

In 2001 I started keeping and breeding the ones that had a more separated stripe or had incredible orange coloration in hopes of bringing in more color. The ones below are from the 2001 season.

I used the 2001 produced Male Below in my 2002-breeding season to bring out even more orange coloration.

The ones below were produced in 2002 and show even better striping and color.

The Female below produced my very best ones for 2003. She and the Male below her produced the two at the top of the page.

HTLG02-110

The Male below was my breeder for the 2003 Season. He is so orange in color it is hard to make out any striping on him, but you can see the circles that he passed on.

SHTLG02-31

The two Females at the top of the page were produced in 2003 and were the cornerstone to my production for 2004, but the two Female's below are some of their siblings and are on my available page.

SHTLG03-98

I bred the Male below to the two Females at the top of the page to produce my 2004 offerings. I will have pictures of some of the earliest born below.

SHTLG03-78

Below are some of my very first 2004's from the two Females at the top of the page and the Male above. None of these will be available until mid-late 2005 but some of the siblings of the parents are available now.

SHTLG04-8

SHTLG04-9

These first two resemble their Mother.

SHTLG04-11

SHTLG04-12

These next two resemble their father and are really that red in color.

SHTLG04-22

This one is kind of a combination of the two.

Well I think you can get the idea of what can be created with these incredible geckos so check my Available Geckos Page to see what is available.

I hope you enjoyed,
